Next level avatars from Star Citizen "Faceware"
So, you may have heard of "Star Citizen" , an epic game that received in excess of $100m in funding from a kickstarter campaign. It is perhaps the longest game development project... ever. There is a ridiculous amount of technology in this game that still does not have a release date. Anyway, the developers, cloud imperium games, has released a sneak peak of an amazing feature that transfers your facial expressions onto your in game avatar in real-time from your web cam. They call it "faceware". Just watch the video from the developers to how impressive this is. And yes the avatar in the game looks exactly like Ser Davos Seaworth from Game of Thrones.
